Huruf Garden
Arabic letters and their sounds for little ones, in Qaida order. Works offline.
Huruf Garden is a quiet place for a small child to meet the Arabic letters, one short lesson at a time, in the order a Qaida teaches them. It was made for a five-year-old and a grown-up sitting together.
What it does
- Every letter has a flower bed. When your child names a letter correctly on three different days, it flowers. There are no timers, no points and no fail sounds.
- Meet the letters: big cards, one letter each. Tap a card to hear the letter's name and then its sound, and see where the sound comes from: the throat, the tongue, the lips or an open mouth.
- Trace it: follow a wide road from the green dot, right to left, in the usual stroke order. The dots go on last.
- Short games: which letter says this, dot detective, and where does this sound live. A wrong tap simply fades, the sound plays again and the right answer glows.
- Lessons 1 to 8 cover all 29 letters and laam alif. Lessons 9 and 10 show how letters join at the start, middle and end of a word. Lesson 11 is the secret surah letters, read by name.
- Water the garden: daily practice brings back the letters that are due, in 6, 8 or 12 rounds.
- For grown-ups: record any sound in your own voice. Recordings stay on the device and can be saved as a voice pack file. Choose Indo-Pak or Arab names for the letters.
- Works fully offline. No accounts, no analytics, and nothing is sent anywhere. The microphone is used only when a grown-up taps Record.
